What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience.
How we use cookies
EnlightPixel uses essential cookies for authentication and guest purchase linking, and local storage for your theme, consent preferences and update-bell read status. If you allow analytics, session storage limits measurement to a small number of events per visit. Service providers process data as described in our privacy policy.
| Storage item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ep-cookie-consent | Remembers your cookie preference | Permanent |
| theme | Remembers your light/dark mode preference | Permanent |
| sb-*-auth-token | Authentication session (when signed in; lifetime is managed by Supabase) | Session |
| Update read status | Remembers viewed announcements for each signed-in account in this browser | Until cleared |
What we don't use for website analytics
- ✕Google Analytics or any third-party analytics
- ✕Advertising or retargeting cookies
- ✕Social media tracking pixels
- ✕Cross-site tracking of any kind
Embedded videos
YouTube supplies video thumbnails and embedded players. Tutorial watch pages load one player; product promo players load after you press play. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but Google still receives network information when its content loads and may use storage during playback. See Google's privacy policy for provider practices. These third-party requests are separate from our optional website analytics.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Disabling essential storage may affect sign-in, purchase recovery and saved preferences. You can also choose whether to allow optional website analytics.
